What can I say?  If I wasn't running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get all the last minute food purchases made, I was looking around astounded at how many cheesecakes we had for dessert, or meeting and greeting all the great new faces from the Community.  What a great time.

As I look back on the weekend - which seems like it started and ended before I even had time to blink - I warmly remember Melroch slaving away in the kitchen to share some homemade jambalaya with the crowd; Eywe, Ibacai, and Hxlgg helping her get things prepared and setting up all the tables and chairs; Gilenath taking care of all the little details I didn't have time to remember to do; nickademas saving the dessert day; karakedi's awesome ears; Mario being so excited to meet everyone; kinudig and Crystal having a great time in the city; Methost getting all of us drunk with yummy drinks; Earane getting to show up... and the list just goes on and on.

What started out as a major event being thrown together as well as could be done at the last minute - turned into a hugely wonderful experience.  I loved getting to meet so many new faces and I hope we can all get together again next year - maybe in a new venue.  I'm not sure my poor backyard could handle too many more folks!

All I can say is thank you, to everyone, for making this gathering one that has left us all with fond memories - and welcome to all the newcomers who were gracious and wonderful guests.  If anyone has any pictures they'd like to submit, please feel free to do so either through the site or by emailing me your resized pics (no more than 3 to an email).  I'm adding them to the Gallery as they come in - and I can't wait to see more!
