AP Remodel Soon to Begin By electprogeny Published: March 25, 2007  Print After much thought with very deep consideration, I have decided that the AP will continue to exist but with a much different purpose than it once served. Rather than gearing towards a single game community's audience, I have decided to expand the AP so that it will be a place for folks from other games to have a place to call home, as well. As such, you will begin to see changes to the website happening over the course of the next few months - not the least of which will be a very drastic change to the forum area. We will still keep our non-public sections (access granted to those areas upon request) but we will no longer be primarily focused upon Tolkien and LotRO. Most of the current forum areas will be rolled-up into more generalized headings, so while it may seem a bit disorienting when that happens at least now you'll know why.  I'm also considering changing the CMS I use for the site (the content management system) which used to be worth it for the money but now no longer is, so over time we may see layout changes to the entire website as well. For now, please feel free to submit forum articles specific to your games of choice - and if you're interested in running a section at the AP specifically for your game (i.e. moderating that forum area, submitting news, etc.) please just let me know. Input is certainly welcome so if any of you have thoughts, ideas, or comments on the new direction - this is the thread to let me know! |
